This is the first business plan that was made by us. In order to complete this business plan, we had to face a lot of difficulties in order to complete the business plan. It is because, at the early stage of preparing this business plan, we do not have a clearer idea on what business that we want to get involved. Referring to the above circumstances, we are student from the Faculty of Banking Management had be assigned to prepare and present our business plan by grouping. The reason of this business plan been done is to test the knowledge and ability of student in forming a business project and in requirement to meet one of our academic syllabuses for this semester.

2. Our group is performed by four highly vision and talented students. All of us had agreed to choose and establish a business project, which will be involved in distributing nicotine pills to the market. Where, the product of our company is distributed to the hospitals, clinics and pharmacies.

Introduction To The Industry

Smoking is one of the biggest troubles faced by many countries around the world including Malaysia. We can say all races in Malaysia especially Malay, Chinese and Indian have the habit of smoking cigarettes. Nicotine pills are one of the ways to help this people to stop smoking. The market in this industry is large but only been conquer by a few of companies. Until now, the market is still not be evaluated effectively by the business person effectively.

Nicotine pills are one of the ways to help the smokers to stop smoking and reduce the expenditure for something that bring bad to health. For information, the number of smokers in Malaysia is increase day by day. That means the target market is getting bigger and bigger. Furthermore the price for a pack of cigarettes is increase year by year. It may become burden to the smokers and the smoker will think a way to stop smoking. The answer is nicotine pills. Not many companies in Malaysia want to take the risk because to make a smoker to stop smoking is not an easy job. Nicotine pills supply the amount of nicotine that needed by the body. The number of pills taken will be decrease day by day and at last the smoker will stop taking the pills. The process to stop smoking is not hard and it all depends on the individual spirit.

Smoking problem in Malaysia is become more critical. Every smoker must know that they must quit smoking to have a better and healthy life. So from that we can see that this business will successful. To start this business, we must have a regular supplier to supply these pills to us. The target is to help smokers around Malaysia to stop smoking and reduce the expenditure related to smoking. It is a high risk business, but the return is also high. So, we get into this industry is to help the smokers to stop smoking by providing this nicotine pills.

OBJECTIVE OF THE ORGANIZATION

Lucis enterprise is a company that has own view for future market. Therefore, we need to have objectives in our organization. Our objectives are:

· To be the biggest distributor in the industry of nicotine product in Malaysia.

· To encourage the Malay entrepreneur to get involved in this sector.

· Decrease the prevalence of tobacco consumption amongst Malaysians.

· Reduce the burden of tobacco related deaths and diseases in the country.

· To increase the economy of Bumiputra.

· To gain profit.

PROPOSE OF BUSINESS PLAN

Business plan is a written document that serves as blueprint and guide for purpose business project that one intent to undertake. The information that has been gathered regarding to the project is used in the business plan to predict viability forecast success and proposed strategies for the project. It is also known as the working paper, business proposal and project paper or prospectus.

Business plan is prepare by the entrepreneurs due too many reasons. One of the reasons for preparing the business plan is to allow the entrepreneur to view and evaluate the purposed business venture in the objective. The collapse of many business ventures can be attributed to the decision and planning of the entrepreneurs who rely more on emotions and gut feeling rather than rational considerations. With the business plan, the entrepreneur has solid and well-grounded information to supplement the planning and decision making. This way, the entrepreneur has more realistic and practical business plan.

Besides that, the reason for preparing the business plan is to study and evaluate the feasibility of the business. The business plan can be as a basic determining viability of a propose of business venture. The information gathering and analysis that is done as part of preparing the business plan can give an early indication as to the viability of the project. Hence, the entrepreneur can make better judgment before investing in the proposed venture.

Business plan can also be used as a communication tools to convince potential investors of the viability of proposed venture. The availability of business plan will boost the confidence of any interested parties in financial institutions, private or individual investors, suppliers and government agencies.

The preparation for the business plan is most important and cannot be ignore by the entrepreneur. It is a guideline for managing the business and is one of the reasons for preparing the business plan. In preparing the business plan, the entrepreneur has thought out and laid down the plan strategies for running the venture. When the venture becomes reality, the plans strategies outlined in the business plan that will be an important benchmark to help the entrepreneur gauge his progress.
